I came across The Lonely Whale one day, because Adrian Grenier had posted something about it. I've always been such a fan of Entourage, and he seems like a really down to earth person who wants to make a difference, so I like to follow him.
I went to the @Lonelywhale's insta and saw so many beautiful pictures people had been painting and drawing, I was immediately intrigued. Whales have always been so fascinating to me, because my momma loved them my entire life. They are such beautiful, & peaceful animals.
52 is a whale who's been in captivity his entire life. It's very strange, because if you know anything about whales, they stick to their own pods and love their families more than we could ever fathom. The fact that this sweet animal has lived alone for so long is very strange. He makes a very unique sound. Unlike any other whale. It's almost as if he really is just struggling to be heard. Could you imagine living your entire life alone? Who knows, maybe he doesn't know any different and maybe he is happy? And what we may think are cries, are actually laughter and singing.
A kickstarter has been started to begin researching this whale. If we can all join together to help support this beautiful cause, it could not only unite people together, but maybe show this whale what love feels like?!
