{Take care of that skin}
Hello everyone! It's been a few days, I know this! I am still trying to get my new blog up and running; & I tell ya, It's not as easy as I thought! So It might take some time! Also I have been informed that there is no where to actually "follow" me... That I'll work on as well!
Ok, on to the fun stuff! So as an esthetician, I know all the best stuff to use for your skin (ha) kidding! I'm not going to sit and tell you that, what works for me, will work for you! We all have different skin types, mine is pretty normal! (well, not since I've been in Texas, this weather is killer) So if you have normal to oily skin, then what I use might just work for you also! :)
Everyday I wash my face morning and night. Right now I am using, Neutrogena naturals, purifying facial cleanser- I love the way it makes my skin feel! It gently removes any impurities that come your way throughout the day, such as free radicals! (sun, pollution, smoke, etc..) they use, Willowbark bionutrient; which detoxifies your pores! This cleanser is safe to use for any skin type! I love that they use all natural ingredients! --Switch up your cleanser every now and then, your skin tends to become immune to using the same kind all the time! ;)
2-3 times a week I exfoliate with, Neutrogena naturals, purifying pore scrub! You never want to exfoliate more than three times a week. If you do, you are over-exfoliating- what that does is it will cause your skin to produce more oil because it becomes too dry, in turn cause you to break out!
Once or twice a week use a mask for ten minutes after exfoliating! I am using a cheap avocado mask I found at walgreens... lol, (hence why it's not displayed in the picture) try and look at the ingredients in things, make sure they never begin with alcohol, and always begin with water as the main ingredient!
I moisturize twice a day! The moisturizer I am using currently, is from Trader Joes! It's safe to say that it's my favorite place!!! I am using the one called, Nourish! It's an oil free antioxidant moisturizer! I love it!!! It's lasted me forever it seems! My other favorite moisturizer from there is called, Enrich! It contains spf 15... I love it!!! Honestly! My skin always has such a healthy glow from using it! I highly recommend it!
Some other skin essentials I use are, Curel, coconut oil and Vitamin E oil! (for my body, and coconut oil for both skin & hair) I like to switch them all off, like I said before; your skin becomes immune and you won't see the same results as you would when you first begin using it! I also always make sure I use SPF if I'm going to go to the pool! I love the sun just as much as the next person, I just wish I would have always used sunscreen! I won't go without it now!
Last but certainly not least, something I just CANNOT live without, are my Doterra oils! When I first heard of, Doterra- I thought they were kind of a rip off to be honest! I decided to open up my mind to them.... & I am HOOKED now! I can't afford not to use them! Since I began using them; I haven't gotten sick, I can sleep better, & I feel happier! It's crazy what they can do for you, really! The ones I use on a daily are, lavender, peppermint, on guard, & frankincense! They all help with different things. Lavender calms and relaxes, & helps with sleep! Peppermint helps with headaches and tummy aches.. (among other things) On Guard protects you from getting sick, and Frankincense helps with LITERALLY everything! If you have more questions about the essential oils, or anything else shoot me an email! mlouise1@live.com--- I would love to hear from you! If you are interested in buying the Doterra oils also shoot me an email, I can help you with that also!
Now that I've "typed" your ears/eyes off! I hope you can take something out of my blog post today!
Have a fabulous evening,
XoXo,
Meg♥

Love this post - I've never had good skin and never really learned how to "properly" take care of it. I've really been trying to find good products and get a good regimen going, so this is perfect! Thanks Meg! :)
