{Feeling & looking beautiful}

In 2007 I graduated from, Esthetician school! It was definitely one of the best things I could have done for myself! It taught me so much in taking care of my skin that I never would have known if I hadn't gone! There are so many little things you can do for your skin to ensure a beautiful & healthy future for it! (I'll go more into detail about this in future posts)

 I also learned a little about makeup! Makeup has always been one of my favorite things!

  I started working for Clinique shortly after graduating; & that's where my love for doing it grew! I began getting asked by girls who would come up to the counter, if I could do their makeup for dances, I was asked several times to do makeup for weddings, engagement pictures, etc.. It was so relaxing for me to do! Each new face was a blank canvas! My most favorite part about doing makeup was how I made the gals feel when I was finished! They would look in the mirror & feel beautiful! There is nothing more rewarding than to know you made someone look & feel beautiful!

  I wanted to share with you a few of my favorite makeup necessities!

   The best most amazing matte powder a girl could get her hands on is,

  • Makeup Forever- You can find it at Sephora! It's perfect for light coverage, or heavy coverage! It's a mineral makeup, which means it has natural sun protection! (Remember to wear that sunscreen) you can pick one up for, $36- it will last you between 2-3 months! So it pays for itself!

My mascara that I use, (& have now for years) is,

• Mabeline- you know, the one in the bright pink & lime green tube?! Yup! That one! It has been voted best mascara for run way shows! I really do swear by it! If you have used it, & weren't really feeling it, try - Definicils, by LancĂ´me! It's a bit pricey, but if you can afford it, try it! B E S T, mascara ever!!!
     *Also a great tip about mascara to make it last longer, don't pump it! Meaning, don't push it in & out of the tube over and over again... It causes air bubbles, & will dry it out! (You're welcome) (;

Another great tip for you is to add a little foundation in with your moisturizer! It gives you light coverage, and moisturizes your skin at the same time!

For those of you who have oily skin, don't be afraid to moisturize, it's super important to keep that skin hydrated... & remember to drink lots of water!

To be continued....

I'd love to hear from you!

Have a fabulous Sunday everyone,
  xoxo, Meg ♥
